Terms of Service
Effective October 19, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of closeeducation.com (the “Site”) and any services provided by Close Education LLC (“Close Education,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site, submitting a form or purchasing through us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
If you use the Site or our services on behalf of a school, district or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Our Services
Close Education is an independent education consultancy that represents and sells third-party instructional programs, including Ascend Math and Whole Phonics (the “Programs”), to schools, districts and other educational organizations. Our services include product information, demonstrations, quotes, ordering assistance, and training and support coordination.
The Programs are owned and operated by their respective publishers. Your access to and use of any Program is governed by that publisher’s own license agreement, terms of use and privacy policy. Close Education does not own, host or control the Programs or the student data stored in them.
3. Eligibility
The Site is intended for educators, administrators and other adults acting for educational organizations or for themselves. You must be at least 18 years old to submit information through the Site or purchase through us. The Site is not directed to children, and children should not submit personal information through it.
4. Quotes, Orders and Payment
- Quotes. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote, or 30 days if none is stated. Pricing, license terms and availability are set by the Program publishers and may change before an order is accepted.
- Orders. An order is accepted only when confirmed in writing by Close Education or the publisher. Purchase orders, contracts or district terms that conflict with these Terms or the publisher’s terms apply only if both parties agree to them in writing.
- Payment. Invoices are due according to the terms stated on the invoice. You are responsible for any applicable taxes unless you provide a valid tax-exemption certificate.
- Refunds and cancellations. Software licenses are generally non-refundable once activated. Any refund, cancellation or proration is subject to the publisher’s policy and the terms of your order.
- Training and support. Training and support are provided as described in your quote or order. Scheduling depends on mutual availability.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or someone else’s information through our forms
- Use the Site to send spam, malware or unlawful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or connected systems
